Biographies & Mission

Dave Ferris has owned a successful landscape design build firm in Minneapolis for 20 years. About 5 years ago Dave fulfilled a lifelong dream to scuba dive in the ocean. After diving a few destinations he decided to get into underwater video, which turned in to a love of doing any type of video. Dave has been on many photo and video shoots for his landscape business, which gave him first hand knowledge of the art of photography. Gradually over time Dave started being asked by other companies, videographers, and production companies to assist them with shooting and producing high definition video of their respective product. Dave designed the Pine to Prairie Landscapes website which included high definition video and still photography. The Pine to Prairie website has received compliments from across the country.

The recent acquisition of the new, highly sought, innovative Red Camera, which shoots cinema grade video, will allow chilibean to shoot and produce high definition video with a completely different look. “Our goal is to give the small to mid-size business owner the ability to acquire high definition video and production which will have the look and feel of what a pricey television ad would look like - without the high price tag. I am the mid range business owner so I know what it is like to want high-end advertising, for an affordable price. I believe there is a market for this service.”

In essence, it is what chilibean productions is all about; our mission is to create the unique mix of images that draws in prospective clients. With the ever increasing popularity of internet marketing campaigns, the right blend of high definition video and still photography artistically combined in its message will ultimately be one of the key points of distinction for any company and ultimately make a business stand out from its competition. During these difficult economic times in order for businesses to stand apart from the competition, high definition video with the right blend of still photography embedded into a well designed website is the way to do it.
